Located just 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City and situated directly on a quiet inlet on Silver Lake, our log cabin rental embodies the perfect mix of being close to everything and feeling like you're away from it all for your summer vacation.
Enjoy our beautiful authentic 1950's log home on 65 feet of private lake frontage on the "quiet side" of Silver Lake. Decorated with treasures from the family farm, the cabin is cozy and quaint with hardwood floors, handcrafted log, hickory and pine furnishings, leather sofa and love seat and maple cabinets.
Beautiful Lakefront
The cabin is situated on prime lakefront property on a quiet inlet of Silver Lake.
A sandy beach, campfire pit and dock all contribute to a relaxing stay.
For the angler, enjoy good fishing. Bass, bluegill, perch, pike, sunfish, and walleye. We provide a pontoon boat for rent and other water toys such as kayaks, paddle boards and canoes.
There is a lakeside deck with patio furniture and a charcoal grill for outdoor eating where you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets after dinner. Enjoy the sandy beach and firepit. Firewood is available at several roadside stands or the nearby campground.

Spacious Kitchen and Living Area
The open-concept floorplan and vaulted ceilings in the kitchen and living room provide great space to cook and converse.
The kitchen is bright and cheery with quality appliances, a gas range and microwave. It is well stocked with all the pots and pans you will need, including a coffee pot.
The dining area has a beautiful handmade hickory table with leaves to accommodate up to eight.
In the living room is a Vermont Castings gas stove with a glass front for those evenings when you want to sit by the fire.

It may be a rustic cabin, but you'll enjoy your time up-north with high quality amenities including a gas range, washer and dryer,
and oversized shower/tub.
Sleeps Six
The cabin sleeps six people. The sleeping arrangements are: Two Queen bedrooms. Both beds are fitted with luxury mattress covers and bedding.
The bunk room facing the lake features cedar log bunk beds sturdy enough for adults. The bunk room is not air conditioned. All linens and towels and are provided, with the exception of beach towels. We give you a starter kit for your paper supplies.
This gem is a one-of-a-kind log cabin on a quiet, secluded portion of glorious Silver Lake. Unique antiques are displayed in this beautiful getaway while fitted with a comfortable leather couch and loveseat in the living area overlooking the comfortable deck, landscaped yard, and lake.
The beds are ideal for a fabulous night’s sleep especially when you can occasionally hear the loons call at night.
The pontoon ensures fun days on this stunning lake that usually has a relaxing breeze as you glide through the clear, clean water. Pack a lunch and you have a perfect day’s activity. The cabin is well equipped to ensure you a fabulous vacation close to Traverse City with wonderful restaurants and fun shopping. The owners answer immediately to any questions. We spent five weeks here and enjoyed every day; it’s a wonderful home away from home. We strongly recommend this great rental. It gets 5 stars from us! Try it and you’ll feel the same.
